LTE- The next booming technology
Over the past five years, an incredible new technology has gained momentum and is set to make its debut imminently. With the new technology the possibilities are endless: Machine-to-machine communication… wireless communication in cars and household appliances… instant downloads of video conferences and many more.
Well communication is a natural urge of human beings so he is constantly struggling to improve the ways of fastest communication. The new technology LTE is the answer for their search that offers enhancements to existing mobile technologies. LTE stands for “Long Term Evolution” It has been seen as the stronger, faster and more efficient 4G data networks. LTE is 4G (4th Generation) technology that aimed to provide better quality of service as compare to other 3G and Wimax technology. LTE is widely called the competitor technology to WiMAX because of its wireless nature and mobile services. LTE also offers faster data rate transfer as compare to existing 3G network equipments by using radio waves over the same bandwidth. By using LTE, network providers will be able to offer better transfer rates on their existing network cells and also offer their customers a lower cost services Introduction of LTE technology is not less than a miracle as it is supposed to work at a 150 mbps speed while a data can be downloaded at 70 mbps speed.
The technologies put forth by LTE will not only be implemented over time, they are designed to be scaleable. This scalability means the company can slowly introduce LTE technologies over time, without disrupting current services. Another plus point of LTE technology is that it will lend a hand to 3G network service providers CDMA and GSM via current spectrum and increase their workability by speed up to 20 mbps as using the radio wave mechanism. It will not clash with the 3G services and will be able to use the same infrastructure for its functions LTE is also designed with a full Internet Protocol (IP) network infrastructure. This means it can support full voice in packet domains, while also offering advanced radio techniques for achieving higher performance levels beyond what basic CDMA networks and 3G data packets can currently achieve.
In consumer’s aspect LTE technology will provide a consumer a type of switching method with the help of which they can move from one service to another using different function without any interruption. LTE will enhance demanding applications such as interactive TV, mobile video blogging, games and professional services. And in addition to mobile phones, many consumer devices like notebooks, ultra-portables, gaming devices and cameras, will incorporate embedded LTE. Gaming would be possible with 3D effects to augment the thrill and excitement.
So long Term Evolution will be better than current broadband networks as
LTE provides downlink peak rates of at least 100 Mbps. That’s a huge improvement over current networks, which only support downlink speeds of 1.8, 3.6, 7.2 and 14 Mbps, with available speed increases up to 42 Mbps and 84 Mbps.
LTE technology, on the other hand, will allow for speeds of more than 300 Mbps.
LTE also supports flexible carrier bandwidths, ranging from 1.4MHz to 20MHz. Thus, an operator can introduce LTE in new bands where it’s easiest to deploy and eventually deploy Long Term Evolution in all bandwidths
